Expressive Arts Runway

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Expressive Arts Runway (formerly Survivorship Fashion Show) is an event showcased in select cities each year that provides a creative platform for women (thriving models) to share their multiple expressions about how their lives are and have been impacted by cancer.

The Runway serves in two ways: 1) It is a place for women to arrive, rekindle and find their bearings after treatments and, 2) a launchpad or springboard into their next chapters of Life after diagnosis. In both ways, women celebrate together by sharing their healing stories while meeting new friends and gathering with their community of friends, family, and healthcare professionals.

The Runway is also a public benefit helping us bring raise funds from supporters, so we may offer this unique experience to more women healing from cancer across the country. This is a time for Businesses, Organizations, Sponsors, and Individual Donors of our communities to reaffirm the steps we make in meeting our goals and initiatives. Health and wellness professionals attend our Runways to see first-hand the strides being made by courageous women healing from cancer. Women engaged creatively in their healing process impacts positively in their ability to return to their families, to their employers and their businesses.
